God has called us at InterVarsity to do something it never has; to catalyze movements so that every corner of every campus as an opportunity to respond to Jesus. This 2030 Calling has us longing for revival. And that is what I specialize in.As our Regional intercessor, I am a prayer specialist. To intercede is to mediate or go between. Through prayer, my primary job is to help meditate, or go between, the unreached campuses in our region, and those seeking to bring the Kingdom to the unreached places. Our goal, as a region, is to plant 1000 Witnessing Community Small groups on all the 170 major colleges and universities in Wisconsin, Minnesota, UP of Michigan, and the Dakotas. And we want to do this by the year 2030. We need God's help, and we need yours.So what specifically do I do? Well, first, I pray...a lot! I also train, coach, and mentor other staff and students in the art and skill of prayer, intercession, missional prayer and prayer ministry. I also seek to create a network of prayer teams and prayer groups made up of churches, ministry partners, and alumni. This network, with teams formed by area, will pray for the campuses and staff in their areas. Carthage College

At Carthage College I coach and train student leaders to establish and advance Witnessing Communities in unreached parts of the campus. These Communities grow in love for God, God's Word, God's people of every Ethnicity and Culture, and God's purposes in the world.I wear many hats while on campus. As a prayer minister, I guide students in being able to listen and respond to God in pray, all the while praying with and over them for His healing to be made manifest in their lives. I lead student's in Inductive Bible Study, teaching and helping them see new Truths in the Scriptures. Using both prayer and scripture, I help students dream and vision both about their present and their future. I help them set goals and create plans to help them achieve their goals. But our faith is not our own, and so helping students share their faith in this world is a challenging endeavor, and I am blessed to help them. And we here on campus also serve our brothers and sisters, leading and teaching about the power of service and acts of justice. As the Campus Minister for the K-12 Academy, I wear multiple different hats each day. Sometimes I'm a teacher, sometimes an administrator, and sometimes a counselor. My duties include, but are not limited to:-I teach a senior level class entitled Christian Life and Service. With this class, we learn and practice several key Christian disciplines, and engage in several off campus service projects throughout the week.-Plan all of our weekly class Masses in our smaller chapel, and our larger school Masses, which occur about once a month. This includes finding priests, picking and sometimes playing music, finding readers and assisting ministers, and preparing any PowerPoint and/or typed material.-As the students are required to complete X number of hours of service work to pass their grade, I act as record keeper for all students grades 6-12.-I plan multiple school service projects throughout the year.-I make myself available to students for advise, conversation, and for anything else the students may need from me.-Provide spiritual activities for the various staff for the school.-Act as head of the theology department for Middle and High School.-Overall, I watch over and ensure the spiritual development of all the components of the entire campus.

I get paid "treasures in heaven" for this job. I meet with several other Spirit-filled persons from the Milwaukee area to help plan events, and pray, for the Milwaukee area prayer groups.

I am the main trainer for all the positions in the back of the house(grill, dish, kitchen, and dessert/appetizer/allergy zone).

I worked at three different churches in the Milwuakee area:Emmanuel Lutheran, RacineAbiding Savior Lutheran, Brown Deer (Milwaukee)Grace Lutheran, TheinsvilleI also worked at Lutherdale Bible Camp for three years; two summers as a counselor, one year full-time as a Youth Ministry Associate with a summer as on-site coordinatorIn addition, I worked with a team from two synods to run a High School leadership Summer Camp called PRISM for four years.
