I started my insurance career in sales as a Life & Health Retention Specialist and, from there, moved up five times over 15 years to reach the director level. My desire to impact the business both at the company level—revenue and profits, and at the granular level—employees and customers- continues to propel me upward. I currently lead a Telesales Operations team of 70 FTEs (5 direct and 65 indirect reports) in Personal Lines Sales.My talents and passions are in sales and leadership. I understand that client acquisition and retention are the backbones of sales success--and I know what it takes to get there. I have consistently ranked as a top producer and sales leader throughout my career. Competitive and bottom-line oriented are words that describe me well. What makes me unique is that I balance these qualities with a willingness to go above and beyond for the company, my team, and the customers, always seeking a win-win. My leadership philosophy is to educate, support and motivate the sales team. Coaching, mentoring, and developing others are part of my DNA. My leadership skills were tested during the recent AMBA acquisition of Marsh McLennan’s Association Business. I used a situational leadership approach and open communication to address concerns. I strive to create a culture where individuals feel respected and valued. Productivity remained high throughout and after the acquisition, and employee retention was 100%. I set aggressive goals and KPIs for my teams and myself.
