During my time at Travelers, I had the immense privilege to work with the Oil and Gas team in a UPDP Underwriting Intern role. My job consisted of market research, job shadowing, and a general learning of how an Underwriter goes about their job. I was tasked with a Business Unit Improvement Project as well, which gave me the opportunity to showcase my understanding of the Oil and Gas Unit, as well as other lines of business that Travelers Underwrites.

At GRP Tax and Bookkeeping, I had the privilege of learning about the field of account through a short-term internship. In this role, I was taught how to use applications such as QuickBooks to record and categorize Business Transactions. I became proficient with navigating the website, as well as diving a but into the preparations needed to begin filings for Tax Season.

At the Keller Chamber of Commerce, I was tasked with putting together marketing products, business outreach, and data management and entry for small businesses in the area. I was able to interview with the chamber by recommendation of my Marketing practicum teacher at Keller High School.
