Brock is a licensed architect, creative, designer, and strategist who has led large-scale transformations for some of the biggest brands including: Walmart, McDonalds, LG, Samsung, AMC, Shell, and Wells Fargo. He was a thought-lead partner with IBM for next-gen retail and as a strategic partner of NCR has transformed industries and organizations through technology. He has built structures around the world, designed products, furniture, packaging, created marketing plans, TV advertising, digital content, and digital experiences, and recently transformed retail banking. Brock is academic in his approach and believes design is the combination of concept, percept, affect and image: there must be an idea, people need to perceive it, they need to feel it, and the engagement should be memorable. Known for ground-breaking new thinking and an exceptional attention to detail, he has earned the trust of leaders to manage their brands and transform their businesses. Select projects:- designed the award winning broadcast studio for Anderson Cooper’s first show at CNN, - partnered with IBM’s emerging business units team and developed next generation retail concepts- defined CNN International’s global look through the design of their broadcast studios- redesigned the Walmart experience with a hugely successful and innovative new shopper experience and environmental design for the consumer electronics department, food, and apparel before moving onto the total store experience, - designed the experience and physical interiors for a completely new project typology - an innovation and shopper testing facility for Frito Lay/ PepsiCo - created a global exhibition strategy and style guide for Samsung, - designed the sports experience for the Special Olympics 2009 Games in Boise, Idaho and then translated the design into a “sports experience in a box” to be distributed globally for local activations,- design lead, programming graphics, for Smithsonian African-American Museum of History & Culture- strategic lead for brand management and product development for Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop- created the ground-breaking design and experience for Well's Fargo NoMa store concept- designed the experience and buildings for Abu Dhabi Distribution Company- led the strategy and design for an integrated digital and physical ticketing ecosystem for AMC theaters- lead and executed over 50 branch transformations for financial services companies
