I had had a key role in transitioning Prestige to an all online database for sales orders as well as equipment warehousing and logistics. My daily tasks consist of assigning personnel to deliver and setup audio visual equipment as well as servicing internal departments. I ensured staff were notified and up to date on policies and procedures that were required to function on a daily basis.

My position as Production Supervisor for Memorial Hall covered all of the technical aspects for technical support and operation of sound, lighting and audio visual equipment for meeting and banquets, musical performances, and theatrical productions. I also worked with other members of the 3CDC technical staff to supervise and streamline production services at Washington Park, Fountain Square, and Ziegler Park.

I was the point person for designing roof, stage, sound, and lighting systems for concerts, outdoor festivals, political events, banquets, cheerleading competitions, and many other events. Additionally, I created plans and designs for installation projects from start to finish. Our team created visual concepts and technical drawings for events and outlined procedures for building designs safely and effectively on job sites. Day to day responsibilities included drafting and working with the manufacturing team to create equipment and scenic elements for events and installations.

I oversaw production and event coordination for Ohio University Events that would produce events in venues including Templeton Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium, Baker University Center, Peden Stadium and The Convocation Center. Job duties included managing audio, lighting, staging, and production advancement of performances as well as coordinating logistics with performers. I acted as a liaison with touring production companies and helped with in house production facilities and equipment. Day to day responsibilities included managing student scheduling, working with clients to execute setups for their events as well as giving creative feedback for events. I was responsible for knowing the interworking of all audio, rigging, and intelligent lighting systems to be able to troubleshoot and operate these systems safely and effectively.

I worked with touring companies throughout West Virginia and surrounding states. I had in-depth experience with the production environment, equipment and personnel primarily with audio. I gained professional experience working with union IATSE workers as well as managing crews of up to 15 people. My duties included setting up, troubleshooting, and mainlining professional audio systems as well as coordinating with local and national production companies.
