I was the managing editor for Orange and Blue Magazine at the University of Florida with a secondary job of being a senior editor. I came up with the idea for the issue, being the Noise Issue, which won the class vote. I was a senior editor for three stories: a brief, a department and a feature as well as a top editor for the two other features, two more.

I was the editor for both the print and email newsletters which go out to more than 5,000 subscribers.I completely designed the email newsletter from the ground up, setting up an email account to handle the newsletter, the subscriber list, the template for the newsletter and the links to subscribe. I redesigned the print newsletter from the ground up.

I worked as a freelance stringer taking assignments as they were handed out. I mainly wrote for The Avenue, which is the entertainment section, taking on assignments such as album reviews, entertainment news and concert previews.
