As an intern with Everybody's, I worked closely with day-to-day and band managers to plan artist's tour schedules (most notably, Mumford & Sons), research A&R, communicate with a number of musicians and aid in office duties. This experience provided me with a unique perspective on the entertainment industry. It taught me how to balance my creativity while maintaining a business mindset. By learning how to maintain this balance I was able to work effectively with artists and form lasting professional relationships in the industry. The most important thing I learned at Everybody's was how to balance "art vs commerce", which is creating lucrative business without holding back the creativity that an artist wants to display in his/her work. This is something that is underrated in this age, and something I consider to be my greatest lesson from my summer abroad at Everybody's Management.

As a sales intern with AEG, I worked closely with the sales team on the annual Nike 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. I used my first-hand experience working with one of the west coast's largest 3 on 3 basketball tournaments to develop skills in: conducting sales research, effectively contacting clients, creating sales pitches, making sales calls, finalizing sales and participating in sales meetings.

As an intern with Pipeline Productions, I worked closely with the marketing of many small concerts in the Lawrence area, as well as the nationally renowned concert festival - Wakarusa. I created marketing publications and distributed them to local business and concert venues and saw first-hand how events of all sizes are planned, created and finalized.
