Deputy Director for the NIWC LANT CSSP. My domain area of direction was Infrastructure and Platform Sustainment. I lead technical projects that support our operations. Our teams goal was to provide a secure and reliable infrastructure that allows our analysts to protect our subscribers. I was involved with day to day operations as well and have taken an interest in automating procedures and tasks. I helped bridge the gap between teams with communication and technology to accomplish organizational goals. Some of the technical projects that I have had hands-on experience while in this role are:Utilizing saltstack for configuration management of different platforms (Linux, Cisco UCS, VMWare, AWS)Building out a development environment using AWS. This involved creating custom AMI images, VPCs and ec2 instances. Configuring AWS cloud networks, cloudwatch, lambda functions and load balancers.Developed CI pipeline for our infrastructure as code repository.
