I grew up in Grapevine, Texas where I started playing ice hockey at four years old. Being that I played hockey in the south of the United States as well as spent a semester studying intercultural communication abroad in Florence, Italy, I am no newcomer to different cultures as well as walks of life. Throughout my professional, college, and athletic careers, I have built valuable skills in teamwork, communication, leadership and adaptability.
