I am a dedicated, hard-working Mechanical Engineer studying a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours at Griffith University (GPA of 5.4). I have recently been abroad studying at Aarhus University in Denmark and have returned to Australia to complete my final year of study. I have a thorough understanding of engineering and design concepts, and have been assessed on how well I can apply this knowledge in both Australia and Europe. I have just completed a 3-month Australian Defence Internship with TAE Aerospace, working with the RAAF Fleet and gaining experience in design and reliability engineering.To support my fundamental knowledge, I have extensive experience in the construction industry, working with Rubicon Design and Construct as a construction labourer on a regular basis. This has given me practice in applying my university skills in a practical manner on an engineering project, which I believe to be a skill that most university students do not have at such an early stage.While studying, I have also been very active in part-time positions, spreading myself over a number of different industries including retail and hospitality. I was previously a manager at Hudsons Coffee, a small coffee shop at the Gold Coast Private Hospital, and have taken on a casual weekend position at Boost Juice to work around my position at TAE Aerospace. Working multiple jobs while studying has pushed me to becoming an organised and self-managed person, adhering to a strict time management scheduleThese skills and experiences that I have accumulated will hopefully allow me to excel in the Engineering industry in the future.
