I am a recent PhD graduate in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Iowa. I enjoy working to collaboratively solve complex problems requiring diverse knowledge and dynamic learning. Through several experiences I had during my bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University, I was provided with excellent opportunities to touch on a wide variety of topics. Through these varied experiences, I was most interested when I was able to bring my eclectic background to bear on the particular issues at hand. The challenges of synthesizing cyber-physical systems, their design and simulation, hold a special interest for me as it allows for both breadth of application and specificity of focus, precisely what I am seeking. To that end I decided to pursue my PhD in ECE with the intent to seek an industry position either in consulting or in front end research and development, where I can bring my interest and abilities to bear in helping others solve unique problems in diverse areas of application.
