Planned, resourced and executed all training operations for a ROTC Department consisting of 120 cadets. In conjunction with other civilian and military organizations to provide a vast variety of training resources including transportation (ground and air), weapons and ammunition, rations and latrines for two major training events per semester. In conjunction with the Commander’s intent (Professor of Military Science), instructed the freshman and sophomore cadets twice per week in military basics, leadership and tactics to prepare them to become future commissioned Second Lieutenants in the US Army.

Collected a full medical history and performed a thorough physical exam on every patient seen in the office in within standard of care of supervising physician.Diagnosed acute illness, chronic disease and developed an assessment and plan that was approved by supervising physician.Performed venipuncture appropriate for all lab work ordered for diagnosis or for routine screening including complete blood count (CBC), lipid panel, and hemoglobin A1C (HgA1C).Performed various procedures that were both diagnostic and therapeutic under the scope of supervising physician including: IM and SQ injections, cryosurgery, local anesthetic, shave and punch biopsies, I&D of abscess, cyst removal with excision and closure; toenail/fingernail removal.

Provided assistance to residents in performing activities of daily living, including eating, bathing, dressing, hygiene and getting in and out of bed; gave daily report of each resident to charge nurse.

Directly advise the Battalion Commander, Lieutenant Colonel Crabtree, when conducting intelligence preparation of the battlefield; includes identifying the operational environment and describing the effects of the environment on the area of operations, evaluating the threat and determining threat courses of action.
