Leading a mixed team of 8-10 Business Intelligence Specialists and Software Developers to deliver reporting and applications to improve RTIO’s maintenance activities.• Onboarding, developing and collaborating with team members in the space of analytics, reporting and application development in the Rio Tinto environment.• Liaising with the broader business like IST, Core Process and Knowledge Management and Integrated Operations on solution design and implementation.

Working for Productivity and Assurance within the Asset Management & Engineering Services department, the role was to• Take new reporting and analytic projects from conception to end product.• Project manage both operational and capital projects within the team, including bringing on contractors where required to complete project work.• Facilitate stakeholder requirements into reporting and analytics projects.• Work with IST and other data and reporting groups to deliver solutions that were cost effective.

Site engineering role under the Asset Management and Engineering Services team. Primary functions include• Day to day control systems support for SCADA (Wonderware), Sequencing system (TMS), PLCs (GE PAC and Unity), Historian (Wonderware) and various tools (ruby, python).• Continuous improvement work – health and safety, cost reduction, reliability and tonnes improvement work.• Site based projects.

Primary role was to support Cape Lambert Fixed Plant where possible. This included• Wonderware HMI on development, integration and support• Sequence system (TMS / Task Management System) development, integration and support which included extensive work with GE PAC PLCs, Wonderware and Microsoft SQL server.• Wonderware Historian support

While in the Rio Tinto graduate program I was placed on a number of rotations through different projects which have required the application of different skill sets. These have included• Fixed Plant Systems (06/2013 – 12/2013) – Maintenance and support for multiple site control system and the related Plant Analytic Systems (PAS). This included PLCs; GE PAC 3i and 7i, Schneider Electric Modicon series. SCADA systems included various versions of Citect and Wonderware. PAS systems included OSI PI and Wonderware historian.• Mining Systems (01/2014 – 03/2014) – Project coordinator for in pit wireless network migration for Marandoo which included contractor liaison, risk management reporting to stakeholders, strict time scheduling, site mobilization, cut over and close out.• SCADA migration (03/2014 – 06/2015) – Migration of Rio Tinto Cape Lambert Port A from the SCADA system Citect to Wonderware under the external contractor Jacobs. Extensive use of Citect, Wonderware, Top Server, Proficy and the scripting language Ruby for the design of internal tools.

The first half of 2013 I was a Graduate Control Systems Engineer at Argyle Diamond mine. I had the opportunity to be actively involved in a number of projects• Dawson Technology data capture system to monitor generator attributes.• Process plant camera monitoring upgrade.• SCADA migration prefeasibility study.• Documentation of Argyle Diamonds existing control system architecture.

Code Valley at the time was a progressive software research company which assisted myself in the development of teamwork and individual skills in critical thinking, design and testing of applications to meet the needs of a customers.• Trained staff in the use and development of proprietary technology.• Worked in a number of programming languages, primarily Ruby and Python with some experience in both decompiling and writing x86 64 assembly on Linux.
