About Brody Brewster

Hello! My name is Brody Brewster, a 3rd year Game Design & Development major at RIT. I have a huge passion for game development, particularly game systems programming, and am currently looking for a co-op or internship in this field! I have 3.5 yrs experience in Unity and C#, and 2 yrs experience in C++ and JavaScript. I also know HTML and CSS for web development. I am strongest in C# as it is the language I have made the most games in. However, I am currently focused on getting better at C++ as well.     Worked with a team of 6 to create a 2D puzzle platformer vertical slice (minimum viable product). As one of 2 programmers I was tasked with creating the systems for our main mechanic of throwing sticky mushrooms that allow the player to bounce off them. I also programmed all of the UI systems and settings menus. These tasks utilized skills in data structures, data handling, file IO, 2D kinematics, shaders, and shader graphs.
