I'm a full-stack software engineer, currently working primarily in the TypeScript/JavaScript space. I enjoy writing software that has a meaningful impact on others' lives.In my current role at Bestow, my team is building an internal library to streamline the process for our frontend clients to talk to our backend. We're making it easier for our clients to make life insurance easier and more affordable.I also have plenty of experience with a variety of tools in a microservice architecture, including Node, GraphQL, REST, Pub/Sub, PostgreSQL, Docker, Google Cloud Platform, and Kubernetes. I've also spent a lot of time on the frontend working with tools like React, Next.js, and React Testing Library.I'm a strong believer in automated testing and type safety. Well-tested code is safe code!
