Bromley GP Alliance (BGPA) is a network of 39 Bromley Practices which are working collaboratively to enhance the health and wellbeing of Bromley residents - currently covering over 310,000 patients, nearly 95% of the Bromley population. We have been providing a GP service for Bromley patients at our Primary Care GP Hubs 7 days per week since December 2015.GP Access Hubs:Bromley GP Alliance Access hubs were established to support Bromley GP practices and their patients by offering additional appointments across Bromley. The Hubs offer evening and weekend appointments for patients registered with Bromley practices.Community Phlebotomy Service:The Phlebotomy Service takes blood samples from patients who have been identified by their GP as needing a blood test.Community Headache Service:The Bromley GP Community Headache service is a specialist GP clinic which provides assessment, investigations, advice and treatment to patients suffering with all forms of disabling headaches.Vasectomy (male sterilisation):A vasectomy (male sterilisation) is a surgical procedure to cut or seal the tubes that carry a man’s sperm to permanently prevent pregnancy. Community Dermatology Service:The Bromley GP Alliance Community dermatology service provides assessment, treatment, advice and support for a wide range of skin (dermatological) conditions. We offer a range of appointments which include day time, evenings and weekends. Appointments for this service are available much earlier than would be possible if the referral went to a hospital. NHS Health Checks:The NHS Health Check is a health check-up for adults in England aged 40-74. It’s designed to assess the risk of you developing kidney disease, dementia, heart disease, type 2 diabetes or having a stroke. As we get older, we have a higher risk of developing one of these conditions. An NHS Health Check helps find ways to lower this risk.
