The areas covered in this role included (not exhausting) verifying daily QC checks such as temperature, pH, label and butchery quality cross-referencing product spec with online spec, Assisting with traceabilities, Preparation of samples for external micro testing, analysing results and completing weekly and monthly trends, Carrying out daily GMP audits and reporting and issues to senior management and getting any major issues addressed there and then, Completing paperwork for non EU produce and producing Health certs for the department, Trending micro results and creating KPIs against customer results, Dealing with external and internal customer complaints, Completing supplier questionnaires and signing off product specifications

This job role included duties such as assisting with the establishment of a Quality Manual and supporting documents for a new sistering site just opened, Creating, implementing and training of SOPs to all staff members and fellow QAs, Updating and document controlling all production paperwork, Conducting routine audits such as Pre-Hygiene / GMP / GHP, Completing daily / weekly checks, such as probe calibration, UV water treatment, chemical concentrations, Recording and analysing micro trends on a weekly basis, Monitoring and verification daily of CCP’s and general operational paperwork

Daily taks completed by myself in this role included the implementation of Food Safety and Quality procedures, updating any new / current procedures, retraining and communicating changes to all staff members, Completing verification of daily quality paperwork including CCP and traceability checks, Proactivity preparing for external and 3rd Party audits such as NDC, Lidl and BRC, Conducting internal audits such as Hygiene and Fabrication and routine traceabilities, Investigating customer complaints and non-conformances, implementing of corrective and preventative actions, Monitoring and verification daily of CCP’s, Raising and issuing Supplier and Site Non-Conformance records and assisting with the investigation, Liaising with water technology, creating a folder of validation, MDMS and work instructions for all chemical used on site
