About Bronlynn Thurman
Firm believer in the power of community and uplifting BIPOC voices. I have a fierce love of storytelling, libraries, outdoor recreation, and equitable community development that is authentically resident centered. Background in philanthropy, arts, and community engagement. Outside of work, I am active in my community. I volunteer my time through board and committee service that aligns with my passion for the arts, community development, and the environment. I lead two communities. The first is Black Women Explore, an outdoor recreation group that focuses on providing a safe, but brave space for Black and Brown women (and femme-identifying folks) to explore nature. The second is the Coffee & Cocktails Book Club, a group focused on uplifting stories from authors of color.
