I'm a former Major League pitcher that spent 10 years in the minor leagues before getting a call to the Big Leagues with the Milwaukee Brewers. I spent most of the season with the Brewers in 1998. Going 4-1 with a 4.69 ERA. After the end of the season, my contact was not renewed, so I signed with the San Francisco Giants as a minor league free agent. During the 1999 season, I spent the season with Fresno in triple A and won a team record 14 games that year. After the triple A season the Giants rewarded me by calling me up to the major leagues. On the day of my birthday, I picked up my 1st win with the Giants. Once again, my contract was not renewed and I signed with the Marlins on a minor league contract. I spent the year of 2000 in triple A Calgary. After not finding a job with an organization the following year. I spent some time down in Mexico before playing overseas in Korea and Taiwan. My career ended in 2005 when I decided to retire. I was inducted into the George F. Whitfield Hall of Fame in January 2018 in Goldsboro, North Carolina. I am now currently coaching for the San Diego Padres as a minor league triple A pitching coach. It has been a blast working with the young kids and helping them move thru the system and live out their childhood dream. Seeing some of the guys I had before now pitching at the Major League level is very gratifying.
