Providing planning advice and infrastructure strategy on behalf of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham.

Supported the development of a sustainable Bradfield City Centre, a new CBD in the Western Parkland City of Greater Sydney. My role included drafting elements of the organisation’s inaugural sustainability strategy, progressing sustainability certification for the city’s initial buildings and leading the development of a social sustainability strategy to improve social outcomes in the new Bradfield City Centre.

Managed the progression of airspace and flight path design for Western Sydney Airport, ahead of environmental assessment.

Secondment leading green infrastructure and environment strategic advice and relationship management as part of the Greater Sydney Commission’s Place-based Infrastructure Compact (PIC) Program for Western Sydney.

Commonwealth representative in the team that established the multi-jurisdictional Western Sydney City Deal Delivery Office in Parramatta, hosted by the Greater Sydney Commission.

Provided strategic advice to the Australian Government on environmental and planning matters in relation to Western Sydney and the Aerotropolis.

Key part of the team who delivered the EIS for Western Sydney Airport, established the Biodiversity Offset Delivery Plan for the airport, and began the process of delivering biodiversity offsets.

Worked towards approvals for Western Sydney Airport, including community engagement through the EIS and developing the airport site’s Bushfire Risk Management Plan.
