Work closely with division heads to ensure cohesion throughout the company.- Operations - monitor and develop work practices to improve productivity and operational efficiency within head office.- Project Management – plan, execute, control and evaluate projects and events such as opening retail stores, media and VIP launch events, internal performance awards dinners and an upgrade of the retail point of sale system. Included sourcing and liaising with vendors, managing internal resources as well as post project /event feedback.- HR Administration – manage internal administration in conjunction with a professional HR consultant. Compile monthly biometrics and leave summaries for payroll. - Logistics - coordinating the complete process of importing high value product and shopfitting for retail stores with various international suppliers and shipping vendors and thereafter the domestic distribution. Sourcing and managing vendor relationships and service levels. Yearly strategy and cost analysis.- External Communication and liaising with numerous international suppliers with regards to shipping and accounts/finance on invoicing and reconciliations.- Internal Communication with employees to create positive/team atmosphere, coach employees and address issues.- Administration- Reporting directly into the Managing Director

Brandgroup International Pty (ltd)An exclusive distributor of international brands currently importing four Scandinavian brands into its own retail stores in South Africa Position: Senior Logistics and Merchandise Planner / Business Manager Ordning & RedaAugust 2012 to present• ShippingManagement and liaising with of 5 international suppliers across 3 brands on ordering product and co-ordinating shipping thereofReconciling and analysing quotes and invoices from freight companies and suppliersManage transport and distribution of goods to 4 stores in 2 provinces on a weekly and monthly basisYearly strategy reviewing the past year and plans for costs and processes to be implemented Negotiating rates with freight suppliers ensuring best possible rates are given• Inventory ControlsManaging daily counts and annual stock takes for 4 storesMonitor and implement procedures for reducing shrinkage at store level Manage stock levels across 2 brands, moving inventory when required to maximise sales • Merchandise Planning Compiling monthly category analysis reports, reports are used for product planning and forecasting for future buying of seasonsBuilding budgets for seasons of product to be bought using category analysis and data from previous seasons of productCreate and manage plans for imputs of stock into stores

Main Functions Include:Maintaining and building relationships with new client in various sectors as well as within existing clientsProviding performance reports and overseeing queries concerning payment of accountsOrganic growth within the account; Projects for ad-hoc distributions and annual logistic projects which still include management of client warehousing requirementsAnalyzing reports by in-house and monitoring clerk to establish patterns in problem areas and implementing corrective action with appropriate departmentsReporting back to management Co-coordinating meetings between senior management and clients, distributing meeting minutes and action points to attendeesEnsuring client needs are met to the best of my companies and my abilities

Main Functions included:On site representation of Skynet, functions included: Invoicing client,Monthly performance reports,All arrangements for shipping of client collateral from specific packaging by suppliers, supplying and collating customs documentation to tracking the shipment to delivery;Overlooking warehousing and distribution of collateral, including: drawing stock, tracking stock from delivery into stock system to dispatch and handing over to courierLiaising with various suppliers for planning and execution of distributions and projects.
