I coordinate and undertake evaluations of Investment Programs and projects and other government programs where the CMA has responsibilities. I provide expert advice and analysis to the CMA Board and the Executive Team and where required to stakeholders on organisational performance, CMA programs, activities and specific projects. I also provide advice on strategic issues at a number of levels including the Catchment Action Plan review pilot including resilience assessments, at a state level as a NSW CMA representative of the MERI Strategy Working Group to develop a new Whole of Government MERI Strategy. I have also researched, analysed and prepared written materials on MERI issues and CMA performance standards for discussion papers, reports, Ministerials, briefing notes, board papers, media releases and articles. I have established and coordinated a number of natural resource monitoring programs (water quality, soils and land management, biodiversity, wetland and people) and liaise extensively with government departments. I have developed standards for data collection and storage and oversee the monitoring and evaluation of projects and on-ground works contracts. I have also engaged in extensive project management with the management and delivery of annual budgets including ongoing reporting. These projects have varied from research into biophysical assets such as vegetation extent and condition, remote sensing for GDEs and groundcover to baseline research on people attitudes and awareness toward NRM.
