As the Australian distributor of Barefoot Science, my passion is to not only help my own patients, but also other health professionals to restore balance, posture, gait and foot function for runners and 'just walkers', including those who can't ambulate due to debilitating, chronic pain and arthritis. Since the introduction of 'physiological' footgear - rocker, rolling and/or muscle activation; as well as 'next generation' neuromuscular orthoses - Barefoot Science, kinesio taping, dry needling/acupuncture, and super-pulsed class 4 cold laser therapy, into my specialised clinic and footwear showroom, results are possible across the most difficult and reluctant of problems - including those who have failed multiple sets of motion inhibiting/controlling orthotics and sports shoes.I offer pre and post foot surgery clinics, for more full recovery and earlier return to activity, with stronger feet and base of support in gait. My goal is to get people to pain free walking in barefoot - possible even in arthritis sufferers, with these techniques, devices and footgear. I specialise in rehabilitating the foot and gait, counteracting the effects of years/decades of the foot being supported.
