Oshawa

Day treatment program for children aged 6 to 14 with social or emotional development issues. Was responsible for planning daily events for my group of up to ten children. Encouraged the children to learn about problem solving, conflict resolution and develop social skills. Took daily notes of the children's improvement. Helped to set goals with them.

Uganda

Volunteered at an orphanage in Uganda for 4 weeks. Helped take porridge to the school every day, played with the youngsters daily, had fun activities like face painting on weekends, dishes and laundry. Gained real world experience ina foreign country facing many socio-economic issues. Worked on behalf of a child to legally enter him into the orphanage and continuing to sponsor him to stay there.

Processed 3-P Forward Trades and trades for Pension Plans. Daily deadlines and constantly checking information against brokers statements.
