In my current role, I get to work alongside brand, design and video heads to develop seasonal creative strategies, bring our brand's personality to life as well as conceptualise and implement innovative campaigns that meet business objectives.Responsibilities: • Lead the copy team to deliver innovative concepts and copy for a wide range of briefs.• Ensure consistency in brand tone and voice across all channels to help grow our brand.• Align the copywriting team with business objectives, making high-level decisions on how copy supports marketing and branding.• Present innovative large-scale campaigns with confidence, and manage expectations of senior leadership while ensuring the copy aligns with their vision.• Develop and execute innovative concepts and copy for above-the-line, through-the-line, and below-the-line projects.• Timeous execution of work against scheduled deadlines.• Work collaboratively with the creative and brand heads on the development of seasonal strategies and postmortem.• Support the workflow and time management of the copywriting team, ensuring work allocation is aligned to the skillset and meets key deadlines. • Research and stay ahead of trends to push the boundaries of what the brand’s copy can achieve.• Collaborate with key associates in the brand and creative team to ensure cohesive integration of copy into marketing strategies.• Work closely with a multi-disciplined team to generate concepts to fulfil a wide range of briefs.• Inspire and guide the creative team to produce on-brand, impactful copy.• Provide support and coaching to a team of copywriters, at both an individual and team level, ensuring that they have the skills and resources needed to excel while providing guidance and feedback for their development.• Oversee the hiring and training within the copywriting team to ensure culture fit and added value in terms of skills.

• Coordination of all advertising related to the marketing calendar• JDA promotions optimization: Create all headers for the promotion calendar. Ensure that new stores are loaded onto relevant headers.
