In May 2016, I graduated from the Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Humanities with a specialty in Communication with cum laude designation. Throughout my studies, I was regularly on the Dean’s list and was recognized as a two-sport USCAA Academic All-American. After hanging up my basketball and cross country shoes, I joined the fitness industry in 2012. While working as the Assistant Studio Manager at Orangetheory Fitness, I led our team in membership sales and was responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the studio. I created and developed our key tag program that gave customers exclusive discounts at local businesses in St. Albert. I regularly planned events to keep members engaged and could be seen at most of them snapping great photos for the Facebook page that I managed. Along the way, I earned contracts for businesses in multiple verticals. I became a ghostwriter for a well-known psychic medium writing social media captions, blogs, and email newsletters. I strategized, planned and executed online and traditional marketing campaigns for fitness studios and restaurants across Edmonton. In 2018, I worked as a Growth Development Specialist at Vertical City (Formerly Visio Media). At Vertical City, I was responsible for lead generation, sales enablement, and CRM management. In February 2019, I took a leap of faith and joined the innovative team at GoodMorning.com, Edmonton’s largest eCommerce company and one of the fastest-growing in the country. In the fall of 2019, I transitioned into my role as a Marketing Communications Specialist at GoodMorning.com. As a Marketing Communications Specialist, I spearhead the development and execution of marketing and communications initiatives. I manage GoodMorning.com's influencer and paid media programs. I am also responsible for social media management and the execution of social media strategy on all social media platforms for all GoodMorning.com brands. I am a key member in executing GoodMorning.com's content strategy on its publication websites.I take pride in strategizing and executing high-impact marketing or communications plans that turn customers into brand advocates.
