CurrentResponsibilities include:• Managing a portion of the publishing front list for Alpha Books and DK Publishing• Identifying influencer-focused and trend-focused publishing opportunities and developing and promoting those ideas as potential books projects• Prospecting for, and partnering with, platform author talent and negotiating agreements and terms with those authors• Copy editing and developmental editing• Scouting and recruiting photographers and illustrators for book projects and negotiating terms and agreements with candidates• Assisting with the organizing and directing of photo shoots for cooking and fitness titles• Writing and editing marketing materials, sales materials, and cover copy• Scouting, recruiting, and signing technical editors and recipe testers to perform technical reviews on books• Collaborating with team members to ensure that our books are delivered on schedule and with the highest level of quality
