As a participant of the Spring into Service program, I provided companionship to residence and assistance to Sisters.

• Coordinate with team members to ensure success of three major internal fundraising campaigns • Promote programs and activities of BCBSLA at off-site events • Manage Microsoft Access and MicroEdge GIFTS databases • Mentor and present incoming interns with department information

• Responsible for event set-up for occasions such as LSU suites, weddings, and company gatherings • Provide a high level of customer service while maintaining efficiency in a fast paced environment

• Provide companionship and assistance to home-bound patient • Assist patient with feeding, reading, mobility, and some personal care • Carry out daily household duties such as laundry and cleaning dishes

• Visit residents in local nursing homes, about 3 residents bi-monthly • Aid with resident mobility and daily activities of the nursing home, such as bingo and exercise classes

• Perform day-to-day office operations including sorting mail, answering phones, running errands, and filing• Provide customer service to those visiting the office, averaging 1900 students • Manage Microsoft Outlook calendar, Excel spreadsheets, and Word documents • Utilize mainframe to access student records as requested by advisors • Assist in events such as graduation and orientation
