Brook Madden has worked in private clinical practice with individuals with autism spectrum disorders since 2012 and is a graduate of the BCaBA certificate program (2013) at Florida Institute of Technology, and the online Master of Education program in Curriculum and Instruction: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) (2016) at Arizona State University. Her experiences have included severe behaviors, early intervention, social skills, functional communication training, verbal behavior training, executive functioning training, instructional design, parent training, staff training, and functional analyses. Brook has also supervised individuals locally and remotely pursuing certification since 2016. As a proponent for continued advancement in ABA as a practice, Brook began Gingerly Therapy in 2022 to focus on responding efficiently and compassionately to distressed families of children with autism. As a practitioner, Brook balances technical skills with relationship-building skills that strengthen the commitment to treatment. Brook’s vision for Gingerly Therapy centers on empathy and compassion as essential aspects of ABA as a practice.
