North American Conference For Conservation Biology 2016 - Graphic Designer

Generated and designed all graphic materials for the North American Conference for Conservation Biology 2016, held in Madison, WI. The logo designed for the conference (below), represents two important species in Wisconsin; the Sandhill Crane (Grus canadensis), a conservation victory species, and a wetland grass called Fringed Brome (Bromus ciliatus), a native crane habitat species. The grass seeds are flying off of their stalk as they transform into cranes, symbolizing seeds of information and science given wings by communication, wrapping into the theme of the conference "Communicating Science for Conservation Action". I generated the rest of the conference materials with the crane logo at the root of the conference spirit and branding. My tasks included designing the website banner, save-the-date business cards, prospectus, t-shirt, water bottle, conference signage (22"x28", 28"x44", and meterboards), name tags and event tickets, conference app images, 28 page pocket program, and full 145 page program. I worked for a very talented Steering Committee Chair, Jamie Hogberg, with the Nelson Institute of Environmental Studies.
