My career began in the healthcare industry. I was responsible for managing every aspect of maintaining a successful pain care office specializing in TMJD (temporomandibular disorders) including general & surgical dentistry. I developed key relationships with our top referred providers; orthodontist, medical, osteopathic, and alternative healthcare practices. Recognizing the potential for expansion, I built a niche platform that combined these specialities in 18mos. This changed the way every one of these practices conducted business. Our rapid growth changed our patient demographic drastically; from local to out of state. I went from managing a single office to a multi practice operation. By creating an entire new platform we were able to cross over into each office, allowing us to schedule for all providers from any location. I was in charge of all marketing and operating budgets, managing insurance/ medical billing & coding, as well as staffing and team building. Eventually I choose to start a family, and needed something that allowed me to work less and not be on call 24/7. Landing me in the world of pharmaceuticals. I loved the recruitment side of things. I also enjoyed the sales aspect of being a pharma rep. It was my experience in watching our TMJD pain patients heal that sparked my interest into natural health. I went on to get my doctorate in natural health and opened up my own successful practice using the skills I built along the way. I’ve recently sold my practice and am looking for my next adventure.
