Currently, I am studying at The University of Texas at Dallas in the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science. I am actively involved in a research lab, where I am gaining hands-on experience with a novel biosensor device. I am committed to expanding my skills and professional network by pursuing internships and collaborative projects that connect me with industry leaders and innovative practices in biomedical engineering.My professional experiences have enriched me with a multitude of life skills vital for today’s workforce. Notably, during a group project in a Bioengineering course, I had the opportunity to collaborate with classmates to design and construct a prosthetic hand. We utilized CAD software for design, followed by 3D printing to build the model. We further enhanced the functionality by integrating a servo motor and developed an Arduino code, allowing the prosthetic hand to open and close. This project not only honed in on my engineering skills but also my ability to work effectively in a team.Outside the classroom, I enjoy engaging in a variety of activities; from playing volleyball and experimenting with new cooking recipes to painting, fitness, and exploring the city of Dallas.I am always seeking to make new connections and discuss opportunities in biomedical engineering.
