-Wetland Ecosystems Research Lab-Performs research and analysis in Everglades National Park, Florida Bay and other South Florida areas including mangrove, freshwater marsh, and urban ecosystems -Independently uses geospatial data to create GIS maps in ArcPro used in yearly reports -Prepares and organizes field and/or lab activities -Preforms maintenance and troubleshoots water quality sondes and sampling equipment used for remote deployment -Ensures lab compliance with all regulatory guidelines, collects, updates, and maintains data, preforms quality assurance, analyzes results and prepares reports -Responsible for inventory, maintenance, and training lab members in equipment operation of Isco auto samples, multi parameter sondes, and sample processing -Serves as crew chief on marine and air boats -Trailers boats
