Currently looking for a Speech Language Pathologist pediatric outpatient position starting summer (June) of 2024. I have my CCC-SLP title and will be looking for summer work in between full time school year positions. I would love the possibly to stay on with an outpatient clinic as PRN status throughout the 2024-2025 school year due to occasional long breaks or days off during the weekI have 1 year of experience working as a CF-SLP in the elementary and middle school setting under the guidance of a CF-mentor, as well as 2 years of experience working as a graduate student clinician in speech and language pathology with diverse populations including children with Autism, Down's Syndrome, developmental delays, Fragile X, FAS, and more. I have worked with bilingual children from diverse cultural backgrounds including those that speak Spanish, Karen, and Vietnamese. I have experience working with Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) devices and am most familiar with the LAMP program. I am well versed in implementing other various forms of AAC including American Sign Language, low tech communication boards, and more. I have almost 3 additional years of experience working with individuals with disabilities in other various roles in addition to my experience working as a graduate student clinician mentioned above. I am passionate about working with children and adults with diverse and complex speech and language needs and providing neurodiverse affirming care. I have also earned a Bilingual & Multicultural Emphasis Program certificate from the University of Minnesota by refining my skills and furthering my education in a variety of culturally diverse areas to become a culturally inclusive and competent clinician.
