Currently working as a Senior Data Analyst at MBIE. Prior to this I worked various roles at StatsNZ, most recently as a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, as well as a Data Analyst/Associate for PwC and a Financial Analyst for Citycare Group.In 2017 I completed a Bachelor of Science in Financial Engineering at the University of Canterbury which is a cross-disciplinary major between Data Science and Commerce. This allowed me to develop my knowledge in the fields of Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Economics and Finance.My expertise is in extracting, analyzing and reporting on data including big data. Skills I also contribute are problem solving, communication, teamwork and critical thinking, as well as technical skills in programming and information management.I have experience with a variety of data, analytical and reporting systems and tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power Pivot and a Power Query), Power BI, Tableu, Google G Suite (Doc, Sheets, Slides, Mail), SQL, R, SAS, Python and Java.
