I was responsible for creating and distributing forms for tour guide recruitment, designing the tour route, giving facilities tours for the College of Science & Engineering, and training new tour guides on the route and specific talking points about classes and campus life. I would also give and organize one-on-one meetings or tours between prospective students and current University of Minnesota students. I worked closely with the Admissions Office and admissions counselors for the University's College of Science & Engineering to develop and promote facility tours to interested and future students. While in quarantine from COVID-19, I emailed with prospective students about any questions they had and created a detailed Powerpoint presentation to send to interested students in place of facilities tours. During my three years of holding this position, I trained more than 25 tour guides and gave over 50 solo tours.
