As a project coordinator at Carrington Mortgage Services, I supported the mortgage lending division with various administrative tasks, such as data entry, document preparation, and scheduling. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from the University of La Verne, where I developed my skills in research, communication, and critical thinking. Prior to joining Carrington, I was a leadership consultant for Sigma Kappa Sorority, where I established the newest sorority at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and provided guidance, training, and feedback on leadership development, recruitment, and risk management. I am passionate about helping others, learning new things, and creating positive relationships. My core competencies include team building, recruiting, and interpersonal relationships, which I leverage to contribute to the success of my team and organization.Outside of my professional experience I have been an avid volunteer. Volunteering in both the higher education and community health spaces. As a volunteer with California Care Force I leveraged my own community by bringing in friends to volunteer at the Indio, CA medical clinics. In addition, I worked in their optical department assisting patients in selecting their new glasses and ensuring that patient treatments were documented in the organization’s CRM. I loved working closely with the same volunteers year after year and the look on a patient’s face when they could see clearly for the first time. My time as a volunteer with Sigma Kappa Sorority allowed me the opportunity to work closely with collegiate students and other volunteers closely. As Advisory Board Supervisor I mentored the chapter president and assisted other advisory board members in ensuring the proper protocol and management of the day to day operations of collegiate members. I recently completed a Fundraising Certification through UT Austin’s Center for Professional Education. Having a personal and professional background in higher education and nonprofit, I’m looking to transition into a development and fundraising role where I can use my skillset to benefit the spaces where I was allowed to grow and learn.
