School psychologist Brooke Schamber makes it her mission to come alongside parents as they navigate the school years with their children. Her work as a school psychologist, in the northern suburbs of Chicago, utilizes her knowledge and experience in support all of students, including special education evaluations, crisis intervention, and additional support for gifted students. Brooke is also the founder of the Oasis Summer Camp in Winnetka and Highland Park, which she runs with her husband James (a fellow educator and Golden Apple winner, who shares her passion for education). She also sits on the Board of Directors for The Ted Fund, a foundation that allows underprivileged youth to participate in fee-based summer camp programs.
