While serving in this role, I oversaw all academic and scholarship programming in the Panhellenic Greek Community. This position involved coordinating between chapters educational incentives, executing academic centered events and programs, creating scholarship opportunities for sorority members, and communicating with other Greek councils on behalf of academic prospects and trends. In this role, I had the opportunity to attend several leadership seminars and training as well as develop relationships with other influential leaders on Tennessee's campus, such as SGA. Additionally, I was able to mentor academic chapter chairs to help advance their scholarship and educational programs and incentives in their chapter to benefit their members. Through personally interacting with diverse people groups on campus, I was able to develop a deeper appreciation and understanding, as well as advocate for unity on UT's campus. Lastly, I was responsible for aiding logistical management during UT's SEC formal fall sorority recruitment.

In this role, I gained valuable and relevant skills to be used in my future career as a public relations practitioner. I also had the excellent opportunity to interact with several influential clients in the publishing and lifestyle influencer realm. As a publicity intern, I was responsible for tracking current events in the public relations industry. The daily news, curating communication pieces such as media alerts and media pitches on behalf of clients, strategically craft media communication lists tailored to a specific clientele, assist in creating brand-audit presentations for clients and the Choice team, and research relevant media. Additionally, I was responsible for building materials for long-lead and short-lead media pitches as well as track media coverage for my specific clientele. These tasks allowed me to improved my writing, communication, and strategic planning skills. Also, I was able to develop my professional and remote communication skills as well as further enhance my ability to time manage and prioritize time-sensitive tasks. Overall, I consider my experience working as a publicity intern for Choice to be a positive one! Having the opportunity to work alongside and learn from a team of driven and progressive women who are seasoned professionals in public relations was a gift. I am confident that the skills and lessons learned during my time as an intern will serve me well in my future career!

During my time as the Barefoot Republic Camp Marketing Intern and Camp Photographer for the 2019 summer session, I had the opportunity to live out my passion for Christ-centered camp experiences for children while also advocating for diversity and unity. Working as a marketing intern for the summer, I was responsible for strategically planning and executing daily social media interactions and posts. I also was responsible for writing regular blog posts to be shared with parents and camp donors as a way to stay up to date with daily camp programs and activities. As the second component of my position, I worked as the sole camp photographer for the overnight camp. In this role, I was responsible for capturing daily programs and activities through photos to be shared on the camp's website and social media pages.

I had the excellent opportunity to gain experience in non-profit development through managing donor lists, crafting communication materials and gifts for clientele and donors, and improving my skills in professional communication and interactions.

In my position working as a Camp Ozark Camp Counselor, I had the opportunity to mentor and lead young girls ages 6-12 years old. Due to many of my campers had never been away from their parents before, I was tasked with stepping into this role during their time at camp. While this was challenging at times, I learned excellent skills regarding teamwork, compromise, and thinking on my feet. I also worked as a ropes course specialized counselor. With this, I was able to operate the Camp Ozark ropes course, but also provide emotional aid to campers who were overcoming their fear of heights. Overall, in my time working for Camp Ozark, I was pushed to develop further my leadership skills, as well as a team-first mindset.
