I was able to work under the supervision of senior staff in order to help conduct community outreach through Hazardous and Electronic Waste programs. These programs were throughout the nine member-municipalities within the Quinte region. I worked alongside a team to interpret and collect hazardous waste whilst conducting face-to-face interactions with local residents.

Had the opportunity to work inside the park office doing a multitude of different tasks. Thus, including answering the phone, preparing event posters, assisting gate staff, counting and collecting remits and organizing inventory. As well, I was able to participate in assisting the water technician by taking daily water samples, as well as septic and beach samples monthly throughout my time employed.

Working to create a pleasant customer experience when purchasing Christmas trees and other holiday items. Whilst having the opportunity to learn about the product process behind the scenes.

Worked as a Gate attendant, checking people in and out of campsites, completing sales and ensuring everyone had the best stay possible. Along with informing campers about the natural environment surrounding Bon Echo Provincial Park.

Work included assisting customers in finding cards and/or a special gift for themselves or someone else. As well, answering the phone, counting cash, closing the store independently and ensuring the entire space was pristine.
