Works with psychiatric patients directly, administering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy and monitoring Spravato (Esketamine) treatments. TMS is a noninvasive brain treatment that send magnetic pulses into the prefrontal cortex. TMS primarily treats treatment resistant depression. Spravato (Esketamine) is a pharmaceutical treatment chemically similar to ketamine used for treatment resistant depression and depression with suicidal ideation. -Certified in NeuroStar MDD, Bilateral MDD and GAD, and OCD protocols -Administers TMS daily treatment -Assists psychiatrist with Cortical Mappings-Checks Motor Threshold (MT) when needed-Checks in with patients' mood, sleep and symptoms -Administers and scores global measures such as the PHQ-9, GAD-7 and QIDS -Assesses suicide risk and safety plans when needed (in collaboration with psychiatrist)-Monitors Spravato patient's vital signs and wellbeing-Handles medical charting -Handles office administrative tasks such as scheduling patients and answering phones

The Cupcake Girls is a nonprofit for s*x workers and survivors of human trafficking. The Advocacy Program assists with needs such as: Human Trafficking, Domestic Violence, Substance Misuse, Career Development and Homelessness. -Conducts weekly sessions with program participants -Collaboratively sets S.M.A.R.T (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant and Time-Based) goals-Writes clinical notes -Finds resources for participants-Attends supervision

I worked under social psychologist, Dr. Kimberly Barsamian Kahn as a research assistant in Portland State University's Gender, Race, and Sexual Prejudice (GRASP) Lab. I was invited to be one of two undergraduate research assistants in the lab after excelling in Dr. Kahn's capstone level course Diversity, Prejudice and Intergroup Relations. I was drawn to the lab due to my interest in minority stress model, specifically in relation to inclusive mental health practices. Working in GRASP lab deepened my understanding of stereotype threat and issues related to policing mental health. Additionally, I gained experience in APA research methodology and scientific rigor. I also learned about the research publication and peer review process.

I counseled crisis calls on 988 (formerly known as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline), 911 Diversion Line, Teen Line, Disaster Distress Helpline, and L.A.U.S.D. Line. When I transitioned from being a volunteer to my role as a follow-up counselor, I underwent additional training on de-escalating imminent suicide risk callers. In addition, I made scheduled follow-up calls to imminent risk callers and 911 callers diverted to the Suicide Prevention Center by the Los Angeles Police Department. As a mentor, I also trained five volunteer counselors.

As a volunteer crisis counselor at the Didi Hirsch Suicide Prevention Center, I counseled a variety of crisis lines including the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, Teen Line, Disaster Distress Helpline, and L.A.U.S.D. Line. Prior, I graduated from the Didi Hirsch Suicide Prevention Center’s Crisis Counseling Training Program.

At the Santa Monica College Writing & Humanities Tutoring Center, I was available for private tutoring sessions for all students currently enrolled in Symbolic Logic, General Psychology, and Abnormal Psychology at the college. In addition, I founded, lead, and designed lesson plans for a weekly Symbolic Logic study group.
