Riverside High School. Designed and implemented a season-long training program. Collaborated with community partners, student-athletes, North Carolina high schools, parents, officials, as well as Durham Parks and Recreation to successfully revive a swim program following COVID-19's impact.

Regenerative Medicine Laboratory, Translational Research Team.Contract via Accentuate.Research Focus: Investigating the therapeutic potential of cell and cell-secreted therapies in a variety of pathologies with the goal of obtaining FDA approval for clinical use. Identifying CQAs for primary cell types used for recellularization of lung scaffolds and developing bioassays for cell characterization, functional retention, and cell-cell interactions.•Integrated cellular performance in recellularized scaffold with identity and functional characterization of cellular subtypes to generate CQAs for incoming donor cell lots from various commercial vendors. •Produced, analyzed, and interpreted large datasets generated by immunohistochemistry, fluorescent microscopy, and FIJI image analysis to quantify cell death MOA in human and porcine lung tissue. •Independently developed cell-based and tissue homogenate assays to interrogate the metabolic and inflammatory signaling pathways associated with functional improvements in ex vivo perfused human and porcine lungs treated with exogenous mitochondrial transplant. •Independently adapted Western blot protocols to analyze mitochondrial isolate purity from porcine cardiac tissue. •Independently followed established protocols for ELISA, DNA isolation, qPCR and collagen quantification assays on MSC-derived exosomes and adapted protocols for whole-cell lung lysates.
