Working across over 100 magazine and local newspaper brands, I acted as the first port of call for all commerical and editorial teams for any digital content and marketing - be that websites, apps, social media, e-commerce or new projects. Leading a growing digital content team, I worked with local teams by advising how to improve digital engagement through best practice, and delivered social and content SEO training through one-to-one and workshop sessions, regular reporting and data analysis - all in order to improve content targeting, readership and reader and customer loyalty.As well as empowering local teams to grow their potential, I also curated regular content across all brands, with the specific aim of increasing search engine and social traffic to improve commercial opportunities.

Working across children's toy brands including LEGO, Rubik's and Cabbage Patch Kids, I worked to gain both online and offline press coverage.A large part of the role was working with bloggers and online journalists to create competition, editorial and review opportunities. This became an important aspect of the company's services, with surveys finding that blogs affect the purchasing decisions of over 70% of consumers. In addition to in-office activity, I also represented clients at trade shows and experiential events, including a successful World Record attempt for the Rubik's Cube at the O2 Arena, a cinema takeover in central London and prime shopping centre build challenges.
