ISB is a K-12 international school located in Brussels Belgium, which brings together over 1500 students from 70 countries. The role included internal and external communications for constituents including alumni, parents, students and faculty and staff. MIT Auto-ID CenterAuto-ID Center, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Associate Director, Development and Communications The Auto-ID Center was a ground-breaking research project headquartered at MIT with six research centers through the world. The initiative was a collaborative effort of manufacturers, retailers, government and academia to create open global standards for traceability. In her role Brooke led communications and business development for the Center, raising a total of over 14 million dollars. Position included the development of presentations, press releases and internal and external newsletters, maintaining the website and program development for educational seminars and conferences. EPCglobal, GS1, Princeton NJ Director Business Development, EPC Transition Team EPCglobal is the not-for-profit organisation entrusted by industry to establish and support the EPC Network developed by the Auto-ID Centre as the open global standard for immediate, automatic, and accurate identification. In her role Brooke directed business development for the start up phase of the organisation, securing over 3 million USD in six months, thus ensuring EPCglobal’s objective to drive global adoption of the EPC Network. Ms. Peterson worked closely with the Marketing and Communications team, developing and writing the company vision, presentations, press releases and internal and external newsletters and web sites.

Directing cultivation of corporations and foundations in support of the University of Oxford, England. Responsibilities included: initial research, outreach and continued cultivation of grant-makers, individuals and companies. Ongoing communication with academics and administration on all University initiatives and the development and writing of research grant proposals.
