Reporting to the Executive Director, I take the lead in developing the Ministry-wide marketing plan, looking for new, innovative and cost-effective ways to market Saskatchewan Provincial Parks, the Royal Saskatchewan Museum and the Saskatchewanderer. I also assist in preparing the Ministry strategic plan and budget, as well as oversee preparation of Ministry publications, speeches, website content, news releases and special events.

I manage the relationships with my wonderful clients and our internal team to ensure that each client receives exceptional work including display advertising, website development, TV/radio advertising etc. My clients expertise ranges from aviation to tourism to non-profit work and I love helping each of them showcase their organization and promote the work they do!

• Traveled to health care centres/facilities throughout Saskatchewan to build relationships with health care professionals and to inform them about the Canadian Cancer Society programs and services.• Developed presentations and seeked out the opportunity to inform health care professionals about Canadian Cancer Society program changes.• Developed relationships with cancer researchers in Saskatchewan to encourage them to utilize travel and research grants developed by the society for researchers.

• Coordinated the Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event, in Regina, Indian Head and Moosomin, working with the committee to ensure every aspect of the event ran efficiently.• Made several presentations on behalf of the Canadian Cancer Society regarding programs and services, ongoing special events and fundraisers.• Coordinated the Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days and residential campaign, recruiting and organizing volunteers, organizing facility reservations and advertising for each event.• Managed on-air TV and radio interviews, portraying a professional image while acting on behalf of the Canadian Cancer Society.
