As a Lecturer in the Strengths and Challenges of Autism module, I engage with students weekly online via Microsoft Teams for lectures and tutorials. I also prepare materials and presentations based on the most up-to-date literature. With autism research constantly evolving, this role is dynamic and also relevant to my own PhD research. In addition to preparing weekly content, I also create pre-recorded lectures and podcasts for students to view via canvas. Lastly, I prepare and grade the individual module assessments. This particular module explores the triad of difficulties at different stages of development; sensory and motor difficulties; emotions, relationships and sexuality; living with autism; autism in the workplace and community; and the different ways in which people on the autistic spectrum experience the world.Additionally, as a Lecturer for the Certificate in Continuing Professional Development in Neurodiversity, I engage with students weekly online via Microsoft Teams for lectures and pre-recorded podcasts. I also prepare weekly materials and presentations based on the most up-to-date literature on the conditions of Neurodiversity. This programme provides an interdisciplinary introduction to the concept of Neurodiversity in the context of the screen industry. This programme provides students with a holistic and people-centred understanding of the multi-faceted concept and movement of Neurodiversity. In addition to educating students on the Conditions of Neurodiversity (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Mental Health, Tourettes Syndrome). For each condition, I provide practical/non- clinical strategies for supporting neurodiverse individuals in the workplace.

Manage and teach weekly parent-child yoga classes in Limerick and online. Using the principles of The ChildLight Yoga for Babies and Toddlers curriculum, I offer parent-child yoga classes to parents with pre-crawling babies, as well as yoga for parents with tots & toddlers.Provide resources, supports, and education to parents on various topics such as child development, mindfulness, sleep coaching, and breathing techniques.

Based on the principles of the Developmental, Individual Differences, Relationship-Based Floortime therapy model, provide in-home therapy to young children and families, with a variety of developmental challenges including autism spectrum disorders. Promote the growth of Functional Emotional Developmental Capacities, through play, following the child's lead, and supporting the child in their ability to relate, communicate, and think.

Responsibilities:- Provided home-based, community-based, and center-based clinical and therapeutic services to children and families with a variety of complex medical, environmental, social and developmental needs.- Certified in the Screening Tool for Autism in Toddlers, through University of Massachusetts, Boston. Assessed social and communicative behaviours including imitation, play, requesting, and directing attention. Identified and referred children who are at risk for autism and global developmental delays for a more complete evaluation.- Trained in Sleep Coaching in EI: Recognition of Challenges and Considerations. - Implemented Positive Behaviour Supports to educate parents in addressing challenging behaviours with young children. - Co-facilitated Kids in Motion: a parent-child group for autistic children. Used dyadic techniques to increase social interaction among peers. Lead parents through weekly mediation, mindfulness, and self-care discussions.- Educated parents on autism, sensory-related challenges, and tools for increasing engagement.Skills developed:- Excellent leadership and communication skills; relate well with children, families, and educational providers to support overall development.- Organisational and planning skills; established developmentally appropriate and attainable goals for clients.- Assessed progress and kept daily records.- Teamwork and coaching; worked collaboratively with other mental health professionals to provide innovative and holistic services- Worked well under pressure and managed time well.Creativity and adaptability; provided unique services to meet the individual needs of each child/family.- Sensitivity while working with families from culturally diverse backgrounds.

-Developed relationships with students, parents, and a team of experts in the clinical practices of applied behavior analysis (ABA).-Among this group, many of these children were non-verbal, along with other developmental disabilities such as hypertonia, oral motor dyspraxia, global developmental delay, cortical visual impairment, and many more.-Collected and recorded student program and behavior on a daily basis. Implemented one-to-one ABA services -Improved communication skills among non-verbal students; instructed with the use of American Sign Language, Augmented Alternative Communication, iPads, and PECSCollaborated ideas with Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapist, and Physical Therapist -Applied naturalistic services to a student at home and at Linx Summer Camp. Specific goals were targeted in a non-stigmatizing way. -Organized, scanned, and laminated files. Observed and assisted therapy sessions. Worked directly with the Case Managers and established the necessary program development for each individual. -Made potty training trials and naptime an exciting experience!

Small group therapy sessions with dynamic and integrated instruction using the core principals of Social Thinking. We encourage social communication skills for use in the school, home, and community. Perspective taking, personal problem solving, organizational skills, and emotional regulation.

Interviewed and recruited participants for Qualitative Research Studies. Study methodologies included: Eye-tracking, Lab-Based Usability, Remote Website Usability, Product Testing, Mobile Usability, Individual Interviews, and Self-Directed Online Usability.
