Creative specialist with a breadth of design skill sets from design thinking to physical product development. In 2011, I founded and opened make+shift atx- a design on demand resource for those looking to make their ideas into a reality held in your hands. Our mission has been to aid others in the creative pursuits by jumping onto their team and helping them design and make concrete solutions for their products. Our client base ranges from engineers, architects, to entrepreneurs. In addition to this, I have continued to teach as and adjunct professor in Design in Austin, TX. Every year the demand on design students widens with new skill sets to learn. As a result over the last 20 years, I am ever evolving my skills sets to match. Those skills span from 2D web, graphic , and brand design to 3D product development, materials and processes, advanced surface design in rhino ,and prototyping and fabrication with a concentration in CNC Milling. Both teaching and my business make+shift, has afforded me unique opportunities to push my boundaries in design by constantly challenging me to help others in their creative endeavors. This in turn helps to fuel my creative passion for creating high end luxury CNC furniture that is best described as Art.
