I embraced the exceptional opportunity to participate in a critical component of Ambulance Victoria’s five-year strategic plan. This role was also an ideal opportunity for a career transition, honing my well-developed operational, analytical, and creative skills, along with a natural collaborative and team-oriented working style. During this time, I have made a significant contribution as a key stakeholder, establishing legacies, that will positively impact the Ambulance Victoria Business Resilience program for years to come.

I commenced the role during a peak recruitment period, where I took over approximately 15 requisitions, all at varying stages of the recruitment process. The Human Resources Officer added new requisitions to my portfolio daily. I was also required to manage the daily running of the Human Resources Office which involved; being the first point of contact in the Human Resources office for internal and external queries, answered all incoming calls, assisting applicants with inquiries, maintained daily contact with executive staff members to keep them informed on the status of relevant requisition(s).

Performed risk assessments for upcoming music festivals, concerts, community, and sporting events to decipher what Ambulance Victoria Service level would be recommended. Managed a portfolio of approximately 20 clients at any one time. Time management was imperative in this role as services needed to be planned and executed to be onsite for the event dates and times initially outlined by the client.

Being a results-driven environment, the head office assigned monthly sales targets, generally in the range of $75,000 - $90,000 per full-time design consultant. I often achieved budget, even in low foot traffic, where I had to rely on client relationships that I worked hard to develop and maintain.
