In August 2022, I joined HESTA's investment management team to assist with the internalisation of the defensive assets portfolio. As part of this, I contributed to the development of investment strategies for our internal portfolios, particularly rates signals and strategies. I developed the internal rates process including fundamental and macroeconomic duration signals, fair value models for Australian and offshore term rates and technical term rate duration signals. I also developed top-down models and investment strategies for investment grade and high yield credit. I provided duration trade recommendations for our internal portfolios and managed our government and semi-government sector exposures. I have broad experience trading across instruments including government and semi-government bonds, corporate credit (fixed and floating rate, Tier 2), bank bill and treasury futures, and money market instruments (NCDs, FRNs, term deposits and cash). I have traded credit across the curve and capital structure.
