PostCode (meaning: code for controlling post) describes the end-to-end digitisation of global physical postal services, and the provision of an API that can be used by third party innovaters to build an entirely new marketplace of postal products and services.We're enjoying building on top of Azure's AI Services and globally scalable infrastructure.

Interim CpoOpteran Sep 2022 - Sep 2023Sheffield, GbI was hired to deliver Opteran’s first production hardware & software release and to implement a delivery methodology that would underpin consistent delivery going forwards. I introduced Scrum and devops as tools to improve the company’s highly complex development processes and which it now fully utilises; each of the 5 development teams (about 40 people) are running sprints from a common backlog with a single Scrum Master managing the overall process.Delivery of the first documented, feature complete version of the product was my primary OKR as the company had been developing advanced, state-of-the-art software and hardware, but without a product release, and was under significant board pressure to deliver. The development teams now deliver a monthly, customer-influenced, release-quality increment to the product.Since the release of the initial product, I have been focused on building a team and platform that delivers a robotics simulation platform to in-house developers and customers. The platform is designed to drive greater adoption of Opteran technology by removing the dependency on bespoke hardware for testing. -
CptoLab577 Nov 2021 - Dec 2022London, Uk, GbLab577 recruited me as the product and technology officer after its acquisition by BCB Group. My key focus was to deliver for their key client, Impel, a fully-ISO20022 compliant, layer-2, “instant settlement” (in multiple EVM tokens inc. XDC, ETH, USD+) platform on the XinfFin (EVM-based) network. I took over the client-facing role, re-focused the team on delivery, replaced some team members and addressed issues with client/team communication and fostered a delivery-focused “mentality”. The ongoing failure to bring the product to market was detrimental to investment and growth, so my challenge was to "unblock" delivery of their technology. Working closely with the CEO and development team for around a month we achieved the goal of pushing the platform live. Subsequently I have been focusing on reducing complexity in the Google Cloud Platform, and improving quality through building an automated E2E testing team and strategy. -
